ELHAE Takes a Major Leap with Comeback Album “Trouble in Paradise”

While he’s no stranger to the game, Atlanta-raised artist ELHAE seems to slip under the radar from time-to-time.

Now, Atlantic Records‘ pride and joy returns with a low-key R&B gem Trouble in Paradise, which sees an unsurpassed blend of rap, soul and gospel, all while taking a turn from the dejected ELHAE you thought you once knew following his breakthrough single “Needs” in 2016.

Born Jamaal Jones, ELHAE is doubtlessly, an upcoming talent you need to watch, resonating the likes of Yotrane, Eric Bellinger and Arin Ray, to name a few, though hard-hitting with his unique spin on the genre; revealing a personal sound just as sultry as it is stark.

Trouble in Paradise, the more upbeat and fresh successive chapter to Aura II (2017), not only sees ELHAE set the mood with his amorous vocals and deep-diving lyrics, but also takes us through both the perils and joys of having an on-and-off relationship (“Hennessy“), finding faith (“Help Me Believe“), giving praise (“Sanctuary“) and all else in-between.

If you’ve been looking for artists to add to your late night drive playlist for when you’re cruising close to midnight with the windows rolled down, the speakers turned up and it’s just you, your deep thoughts and the music – well, ELHAE is sure to top the list.

The alternative R&B album features WaleBig K.R.I.T., O.T. Genasis, and Sevyn Streeter.
