After enduring  a  “trash” relationship with Def Jam Recordings, which threw his third studio album into limbo, August Alsina has finally returned – solo, and ready to heat things up.

It’s the end of an era with Def Jam and the beginning of something new for Alsina – freedom. Finally “free, Alsina now debuts as an independent artist in the all-new single “Like You Love Me“, making major steam with a sultry music video to suit, while proving he’s all set to Shake the World – the name of his very own record label.

If you vibe to alternative R&B, feeling the sounds of Bryson Tiller, Tory Lanez, Jacquees, and Jeremih, to name a few, then your ears are yet to experience the pure passion and poise that Alsina delivers – one well-oiled single at a time.

Whether or not Alsina releases his next album anytime soon, one thing’s certain – “Like You Love Me” is sure to affix to your love-making playlist.

Bryson Tiller took the world by storm back in late 2015 when he dropped his critically-acclaimed debut studio album, TRAPSOUL. Now, he’s back to solidify his position his upcoming project, True to Self.

Up until this point, Bryson Tiller has kept his fan base fairly up to date on the status of True to Self. Back in January, in fact, Tiller revealed the would-be title of the project. Then, in April, he tweeted that he had just wrapped up his sophomore album, but felt he had so much more to say. Today, however, Tiller turned t up a notch. Not only did he reveal the June 23rd release date and True to Self album cover, but he also dropped three new songs!

All 3 tracks, “Honey”, “Somethin Tells Me”, and “Get Mine” (featuring Young Thug) will appear on True to Self.

True to Self will also be released on the same day as Bryson Tiller’s performance at the BET Experience Concert in LA where he’ll share the stage with Jidenna, H.E.R, Jhene Aiko, Khalid, and They. The festival will run from June 22-25 at Staples Center and will also include performances by Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, A$AP Rocky, Schoolboy Q, Pusha T, and more.
