Atlantic Records‘ fresh-faced rapper-singer and songwriter, YBN Cordae, stupefies listeners with his debut solo album The Lost Boy – a bona fide and impassioned project well beyond his years.
YBN Cordae, born Cordae Amari Dunston, first made a name for himself as part of the YBN gang, the young “internet rap clique” that went viral. Now, Cordae rightly sets him self apart as an independent artist with the very aptitude to rewrite the rules of the game.
Cordae is undeniably unique by nature, flipping the switch from witty (“RNP” feat. Anderson .Paak) and somewhat comical, to gritty and gripping (“Broke as F**k“), everywhere from spitting full-hearted bars (“Nightmares Are Real” feat. Pusha T) , to delving into soul with mellow vocals; this is one upcoming artist the industry’s bound to watch.
The Lost Boy also features Chance the Rapper, Ty Dolla $ign, Meek Mill, and Arin Ray.

– Rock Band, Linkin Park, have been longtime lovers of hip-hop and continue to mesh the two genres with their latest music video for their song, “ Good Goodbye ”.
Linkin Park Performs w/ Pusha T
& Stormzy in New Video
Linkin Park has been teaming up with hip-hop artists like Busta Rhymes, Xzibit, and Jay Z since the beginning of their career. In fact, many people refer to Linkin Park as a “rap rock” or “rap metal” band. As the band adds to their legacy with more and more new releases, they continue to innovate and expand upon their sound. On their last album, Linkin Park enlisted two very unique hip-hop artists, Virginia Beach’s Pusha T and South London’s Stormzy, to do just that. Now, they’ve released some visuals to go with it.
With the interesting camera effects, enticing light displays, stunts reminiscent of NBA Jams, and a cameo appearance from the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, this video is definitely worth a watch. Not to mention, the eclectic mix of talents spanning from different genres and places of origin make this music video all the better.
