EarthGang, an Atlanta-based hip hop duo, take listeners on a mystified trip with their latest album Mirrorland, an A1 Dreamville Records‘ production that exhibits Atlanta’s explicit creative power through an outlandish, circus-themed soundtrack brought to you by two of the rap game’s most whimsical.

Attending to the sounds of two wickedly-talented rappers and Spillage Village co-founders Olu and WowGr8, the flawless pairing behind EarthGang, is to escape the mundane and embrace the extraordinary. Mirrorland is a musical evocation of losing yourself in a house of mirrors, running wild with gypsies, braced by fire blowers and mesmerised by contortionists.

Mirrorland is heavily influenced by the 1978 film The Wiz, an African-American adaptation of The Wizard of Oz. This 14-track album is an inviting exposé of the many mystical landscapes that only Atlanta, Georgia, has to offer.

EarthGang is simply beguiling; a one-of-a-kind artist reinventing the multi-faceted world of hip hop as we know it with Mirrorland, featuring Young Thug, T-Pain, Kehlani, Arin Ray, and Malik.

Admit one to the circus below.

EARTHGANG, members of the Spillage Village hip-hop collective, just dropped a loosie titled, “MARY” and recruited Childish Major for the production.

Atlanta bred hip-hop duo, EARTHGANG, has come through on their promise to drop some new music and, as always, they didn’t disappoint. On “MARY”Childish Major provided the ominous and hypnotic production while Johnny Venus and Doctur Dot drew us in with their playful delivery and vicious bars.

As arguably one of the most underrated acts in all of hip-hop, EARTHGANG has been on the come up as they continue dropping quality art – both musically and visually.

There’s no indication of where “MARY” will end up, but check out their recently released music video for “Voodoo” below.
